#886: Battle of Wills

Some may wonder why Other-Alec can do almost as much damage as Darkmoon when he's more of a spell-caster. Part of that would simply be that Darkmoon has no specific "class" he can fit into, instead being much more of an all around, jack-of-all-trades (if this were D&D, he'd be the equivalent of a Fighter-Mage-Rogue, with all the bonuses and penalties inherent to that). Darkmoon can't attack very well (in comparison to our Alec), so his damage is just going to be lower -- just like with Other-Alec.
Plus, i will admit to a certain amount of inconsistency with the powers of Other-Alec. He's just much more powerful than he really has any right to be.

Evil Alec always struck me as just being dangerously powerful, as the guy who can summon the beast to end the world, so I'll buy it.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
