#432: A Certain Penache

It'sw a bit of a liberty I take with the plot here (well, really, that I take with Out of the Darkness). They say, here, that Raye elected to stay with Dracula instead of coming with Darkmoon, but that choice was never made explicitly clear in the backstory.
A little handwaving fixes it, though. For one, selective memory could attribute a bit of that, as they both could remember the interaction going a little... kinder than it did.
But, also, it could have just gone unsaid. Darkmoon was leaving, and if Raye wanted to be "less" of a vampire, should would have just gone with him. A hard choice to make, but still a choice.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
