This Comic's Cast:

There are two ways to look at this: either Dracula is just saying he doesn't trust what he read of the ancient Greeks or (and I hate this part of Castlevania continuity, so I choose to ignore it normally) Dracula was actually replaced by an older vampire, and that older vampire (masquerading as "e;Dracula) was old enough to actually live in ancient Greece. Either way, Dracula is allowed to have thoughts on the matter.

Also, subtle gay joke, I know. But Dracula said it, so I have to figure that makes it somewhat better. Maybe?

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
