This Comic's Cast:

And now we get into the real meat of the battle. No more stalling. No more talking comics (which are all I really want to write anyway). Time for some action.

I actually spent a fair bit of time getting sprites ready for this comic (and the previous one with Hanz). Both the clone and Hanz are, effectively, pallet swaps of the original Richter. Creating new sprites for any one of them meant I pretty well should just make sprites for all of them. So in upgrading Hanz to and armored style, I also made an upgrade to Richter's armored sprite sheet. In upgrading both of them, I came up with poses I wanted them to have in their un-armored forms (which is helpful here since Richter is still bopping around in his original outfit for a few more comics). And upgrading the original Richter meant I had new poses for the Clone.

It all works out. In fact, I should be able to use some of the new poses for other characters as well (with modifications, of course). Could have a lot of future uses, really. Time well spent.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
