So yeah, Simon got an upgrade here. As you can see, he has a nice, active sprite sheet. Most of the poses are based on Richter, to be fair, but then, most of Richter's basic moves (jump, run, attack) are the standard Belmont moves, done the way Belmonts have been doing it for centuries.

Man that sounds dirty.

One of the liberties I took with this arc, though, is that Simon is in his Castlevania II armor, even though this is a sorta quasi-retelling of Castlevania I. The red armor was cooler looking. Sue me.
