#3: Out and About

This Comic's Cast:

From what adventure games have thought me, it's really that easy to join a guild. You walk into the building, place your money on the table, and say "yes, I would like to join the guild." They never actually make you prove you're a hero. Apparently the act of having money is proof enough.
I also never saw the benefit on joining guilds in RPGs (the non-MMO type). All guilds really ever did was provide you with a bed when you were in town (which you could get from an Inn also), and assign you jobs (which you could also get if you just talked to townspeople, as it always seems like every person in a town has some side-quest for you).

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
