If you want the truth as to why I killed Actrise so quickly... well, there are two reasons. One, I don't have the sprites of her available to really make a huge battle with her. A small skirmish is possible, but a long, protracted battle was beyond what I have currently.
Also, this is just supposed to be a little mini series before we get into the big, final conflict. Making the battle go on much longer would have dragged it out (and, possibly, lead right into the winter conflict). For pacing, it's best to have a few days off before we get into the final battle.
