#2765: Small Arms Fire

This Comic's Storylines:

This Comic's Cast:

Golem is, of course, nearly indestructible, so it's not as if his standing in the middle of a firefight is going to cause him any great stress. Just a matter of course that he'll eventually have the upper hand in this matter, so he may as well focus on what actually concerns him. Namely, the idiocy of his companions.

Not that he isn't used to it. Remember, he did adventure, on and off, with Darkmoon for the 800 years between games IV and V.

Really, Golem may put on airs, but he isn't actually any better than D and Angel. Expecting them to sit still in a cell with no explanation and every indication that Golem's 'allegiance' had been compromised wasn't exactly well thought out. So, all in all, Golem is blaming them for his own failings. Y'know, I think I like these characters more when I flail at analyzing them.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
