Yup, that bat from earlier was supposed to be there. It's Evie, Alexander's sister and original heir to the Belmont clan.
Again, it's worth noting that I originally wrote this comic before the backstory comic explaining what happened to Evie. While this comic certain would have had more impact (as a surprise) I'd I hadn't shown Evie before, this comic still works -- especially since I never mentioned before now that Evie had been turned into a vampire. Shock and awe!
