#667: While We Were Gone

This Comic's Storylines:

I'm of two minds about this section of the story. On the one hand, Darkmoon is really acting dumb, and the villains are over-explaining everything to him, even though he's obviously not remember basic details.
On the flip side, Darkmoon IS really dumb, and this is pretty much the way he'd act. Meanwhile, the villains wouldn't have any reason to doubt Darkmoon and his merry band, at least not at the start.
As far as all of it goes, everyone is acting about how they would, even if the dialogue feels a little stilted.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
