Really, after a few guilt jokes and having her berate Darkmoon for a little while, there wasn't much more to do with D's Mom. Mab and I both realized this long ago, which is why we planned to have her venture out to Miami. Best for her not to overstay her welcome.
This comic also highlights the fact that Angel and Darkmoon are way too similar. It's a feat trying to make the two of them sound different when they pretty well always want the same things.
Well, except for blood. I don't think Angel cares too much for that.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
