#7: Onwards Towards Victory... and Reward

This Comic's Storylines:

What amazes me here is that I was able to fit all the text, that seems the nicely fill this larger comic, into the tiny layout the old-style comics used. Can we say massive wall of text.
Part of the need for redoing these old comics was because the style was so different from later ones. One easy example is that NPCs (non-player chatacers, ie everyone else) didn't used to have a font color. They'd always be white. It did make them stand out from the main cast, but as new characters were introduced, became cast members, left, and then came back again, the difference bewteen NPC and PC ended up so blurred that I just had to give everyone colors.
Additionally, these older comics didn't even have speech bubbles at one point. I went through later and added them, which only made the layout seems even more cramped.
As far as the content of this comic, it truly is advisable to always talk to the villagers in town. Often they will know the complete history of everything you need to know (even though they are but a simple farmer), and are willing to divulge their entire story with just a simple prompting.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
