When Jorge made the original version of this comic (now stored in the Classics Archive), I don't either of us expected to keep doing Bad Girls strips. But they became the CVRPG mascots for Valentine's Day.
When it came time to go back through and redo the old comic, I wanted to make sure that I kept as much as the original spirit of the first version, while just punching up the artwork and dialogue. I didn't really change any of the characters, just added in some backgounds and tweaked the jokes up a bit.
For those that are curious, the merchant on the left is Renon, a demon from the N64 Castlevania games. He sells the characters items (so it makes sense for him to be involved here as well).

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
