#2895: A Good Plan

I designed this little drone ship a while ago. It's a fun little design, especially once I get it out and flying. We'll see that eventually, but right now I at least have them introduced in the series so we can use them. Nice to have that setup.

Sprockets is actually a lot like a Star Trek RPG character I played a while ago. He was named Plasma (that was his nickname) and he rebuilt a burned out shuttlecraft into a cool little starship. His ship A.I. was named Betty, but in a lot of ways Sprockets have taken those character ideas and run with them.

I'm also wondering where she found the time. Any she would have had from before would have gone down with her ship before Gertie ate Darkmoon's ship right? Can they be manufactured that quick?

Did Gertie recreate them when she desecrated a priceless artifact? Still, this is a much better idea than What I had in mind. I mean, it's not as awesome as ramming prow, but you can't go wrong with swarm of little buddies.

Also, if they're drones, why do they have visors? Oh gods, they're like servitors aren't they!? Brains in jars. sitting in amongst all those explosives. Slaved to the whims of their warden.

I would think the visors are there to protect a pivoting camera or some such device rather than a brain in a jar or something of the like.

Having only one camera would be a detriment though. . . also just cameras is boring. I prefer my panic. Also they're in space, such protection is unneeded.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
